Mary Ellen Davis began her professional career with McDonnell Douglas at Kennedy Space Center doing computer programming for shuttle payloads. Following the Challenger explosion in 1986, she took a position as a stewardess and mate on a private yacht but ultimately returned to school to pursue her law degree from FSU College of Law. At first focusing on employment law, Mary Ellen eventually found real estate law and opened her own law practice in 1998. In 2014, she sold her practice and relocated to the sandy shores of Alabama. Following her passion for real estate, Mary Ellen secured her Alabama real estate license.
Mary Ellen's passion for her community is demonstrated by her service on the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Arts, the fund-raising arm of the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach. Mary Ellen embraces spending time with her family, painting, playing the dulcimer and being on the water.
